Visiting our Schools
All visitors to the school must report to the Main Office upon arrival at the school.
Please bring a government-issued ID
The Branford Public Schools is committed to ensuring our schools are safe places for our students and staff. We are taking some additional steps to be certain we know who is in our schools at all times. If you are entering a school while school is in session, you will be asked to present ID and sign in as a visitor or volunteer. This means you will be required to:
-
Present a scannable Government-Issued Identification (ID) when visiting the school.
-
Scan your ID and print an official name badge. ID's are referenced against a criminal and sex offender database and not saved in our system.
Government-Issued Identification (ID) Examples include:
-
Driver’s License (from CT or another state)
-
State Identification Card (from CT or another state)
-
Passport ID Card
-
Consular, Municipal, or Community Identification Card
